QDD Ranked #88 in the Country
QDD finished in 88th place in the 2007-08 Short Course
Toyota Virtual Championships out of 2,450 teams! That
places QDD in the top 4% in the nation! Congratulations
swimmers!
QDD Summer Programs
QDD is offering swim lessons, a ladies swim group, and a
summer camp in Manassas, VA. Please check the "Other
Programs" tab for more information on these great programs,
and Make a Splash, get you children involved in swim lessons
and pool safety!

Lifeguard, CPR/AED Course
Bill Shaw will be running an American Red Cross Lifeguard and
CPR/AED Course on May 18, 24, 25. Please click the "Swim
Lessons / Other Programs" tab for more info.
Reightler Accepted to Navy
Congratulations to Kelly Reightler who has received an
appointment to the Naval Academy. Kelly will swim for
the Midshipmen in the fall.
DeGayner Receives Academic Scholarship
Jordan DeGayner has just received an academic scholarship
to Colorado College. Great job Jordan!
Fini Commits to WMU
Kelly Fini has verbally commited to the University of William
and Mary, of the Colonial Athletic Association. Good job Kelly!

Shields Wins High Point at Age Group Champs
Congratulations to William Shields for winning the Boys High
Point Title at last weekend's VSI Age Group Championships!
Shields won the 100 IM, 100 FR, 200 IM and 100 Fly.
William was second in the 50 BR, 200 FR and 50 FR.
QDD Strong at VSI Senior Champs
QDD was impressive at the 2008 VSI Senior Championships breaking thirteen team records (8x 17-18 records, 5x Open records) and winning both the Men's and Women's Medium Team Championships. Philip LaRosa was second and Nevin Cook was fifth in the individual scores ranking.
High School All-American Times
QDD swimmers had great a 2007-2008 high school swim
season. The following swimmers swam All-American (AA)
and All-American Consideration (AAC) times:

Lifeguard and CPR/AED Certification Classes
QDD will be offering a Lifeguard Training Class on April 5th,
6th, 13th and 19th. The CPR/AED portion will be offered on
Sunday, April 6th from 11:30 am - 5:30 pm. Anyone
interested in joining either class needs to contact the QDD

Kelly Reightler, Woodlands Senior, has taken an appointment to the
Naval Academy, where she will swim in the fall.
Jordan DeGayner, JRAC Advanced Senior, has committed to Colorado
College. Jordan signed an amazing academic scholarship package!
